Hofstra University, situated in Hempstead, New York, has been Long Island’s largest private college since 1935. Hofstra is comprised of 10 schools, with the most recent addition being the School of Medicine, and also is home to an outstanding Division 1 athletic program. Over the past 20 years, ABCO Peerless has assisted Hofstra in retrofit dormitory facilities on its Hempstead campus, along with the installation of fire protection systems in its library, athletic facilities and interim medical school.  Hofstra University continues to be a mainstay in higher education in both New York and throughout the rest of the United States.
