Macy’s located on 7th Avenue in Midtown, Manhattan, has been dubbed the ‘World’s Largest Store.’ Originally built in 1902, this 2.2 million square foot building has been the home to the R.H. Macy and Company Store for over 115 years. In 2012, Macy’s began its first full renovation of the store since the early 1920s – a project in which ABCO Peerless was heavily involved. Spanning the next 4 years, ABCO Peerless installed fire protection systems in many of the iconic, renovated spaces that serve millions of people a year.
